The guys started to install the 10lb AFFF fire system today. It has a electric pull system which costs maybe 150 bucks more but should be basically bulletproof. I'm mounting the button for the fire system just inside the driver door at mirror height so corner workers can get to it if something happens.
The top window bar is a lot better with the new position. A lot more room inside the car especially in the all important helmet room area. They also repositioned the bar protecting the roof and again, it's a lot better but shaping that bar wasn't cheap.
I'll picking up the car maybe tomorrow or the day after and then I'll be putting in the data logger and hooking up the tach cable. Then I need to pick up my replacement tire and then I'm good to go.
